For quick cleaning, we recommend a clean, damp sponge or microfiber cloth. While swiping, make sure that you are swiping either from top to bottom or from left to right. Do not clean with circular movements, as this will spread the chalk dust you have just picked up back onto the board. After wiping, wash the sponge or cloth well so that no chalk residue remains. We recommend classic chalk for writing, as this can be removed again and again without leaving any residue.
With chalkboard markers, it often happens that residues or "shadows" of the writing can be seen after cleaning, especially if the writing is not wiped off promptly. We recommend cleaning the board with water in the evening or at least once a week, depending on how intensively you use the product. You can add some vinegar to the water or if necessary add a mild detergent to dissolve grease residue.
