For quick cleaning, we recommend a clean, damp sponge or microfibre cloth. While wiping, make sure that you wipe either from top to bottom or from left to right. Do not clean with circular movements, as you will spread the chalk dust you have just picked up back onto the board. After wiping, rinse the sponge or cloth well so that no chalk residue remains. For writing, we recommend classic chalk, as it can be removed again and again without leaving any residue.
With chalkboard markers, it often happens that after cleaning, residues or "shadows" of the writing can be seen, especially if the writing is not wiped off promptly. We recommend cleaning the board with water in the evening or at least once a week, depending on how intensively you use the product. You can add a little vinegar to the water or, if necessary, add a mild cleaner to dissolve grease residues.
