board - Care and cleaning

Generally speaking, the longer the paint residue is allowed to dry, the more energy you will ultimately have to spend cleaning the Whiteboardinvest.

Daily cleaning
For quick and dry cleaning, we recommend a microfiber cloth. This will remove the residues of Whiteboardmarker Gentle and scratch-free, leaving no streaks or fibers on the board. Always allow the writing to dry slightly before removing it, otherwise the pen will smudge.

Regular damp cleaning
We recommend cleaning the board with water in the evening or at least once a week, depending on how intensively you use the product. WhiteboardTo clean, use a cleaner. For thorough cleaning and to avoid paint residue, take a damp microfiber cloth and clean the entire board.

Remove stains with rubbing alcohol or Oranex
To remove individual stains or smeared areas, we recommend rubbing alcohol or, in case of very stubborn stains, the cleaning agent. OranexApply some rubbing alcohol/Oranex Place it on a cloth and slowly rub the soiled area in circular motions.

Oranex It can leave an oily film on the board, making it impossible to wipe the surface clean. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly clean the board with clean water after cleaning and then wipe it dry with a cloth, possibly several times.

Pens and magnets
Use only suitable, high-quality whiteboard markers; we recommend Staedtler Lumocolor. Other waterproof markers are not suitable. WhiteboardThey are made and make cleaning more difficult. To avoid scratches, lift and reposition the magnets, do not slide them on the board.

Incorrect cleaning agents:
Using too harsh or too much cleaning agent can damage the surface! Please do not use excessively rough cloths or sponges and do not apply too much pressure.

Wood - Care and Cleaning

  • Regular cleaning: Wipe the wooden surface with a dry or slightly damp (not wet!) cotton cloth. Please do not use a microfiber cloth, as this can cause small scratches in the wood.
  • Removing small stains: These can be easily removed with special furniture soap. Do not use grease-dissolving household cleaners or steam cleaners, as these can damage the wood structure, which can also detract from the elegant appearance of the wood surface over time.
  • Heavier soiling on unstained wood: If small stains cannot be removed by simply wiping, they can easily be removed with fine sandpaper. Then treat the affected area again with a... suitable furniture oil.
  • Water stains: Allow them to dry completely before treating you.
